Inside, the heart of the home features a large in-house library to browse, borrow from, and lose an afternoon in. Open-plan living opens to the pool deck, making it easy to enjoy both spaces. When the sun sets, set up the telescope and read the sky instead.
The kitchen is genuinely gourmet, with everything you need to cook for a full house, including an ice maker for drinks and a gas grill on the deck. Rinse the sand off at the outdoor shower, then float in the hot tub while the kids wear themselves out with pool toys, kites, and the games shelf.

The Seaside Story is located in Fort Morgan, on the far western end of the Alabama Gulf Coast. A private beach is a five- to seven-minute walk from the door, and Kiva Dunes golf, the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, and the ferry to Dauphin Island are all close by.
When you want more to do, Gulf Shores and Gulf State Park are about 22 miles east, with groceries, restaurants, and shops along the way. Most guests stock up once on the drive in, then settle into the slower rhythm of the peninsula.
